Nice UK customers visit Venice, the capital of the Nice world

The Nice UK team and its customers recently enjoyed a special trip to Italy, visiting the world headquarters of the Nice Group and touring the beautiful surroundings of Venice.

The trip began with a visit to TheNicePlace, the 3000 square foot “social hub” of the Nice Group in Oderzo. The group enjoyed a guided tour of the facilities, followed by hands on product demonstrations and a look at the research and development labs where all Nice products are designed and tested to the highest standards.

After a taste of authentic Italian cuisine at a local restaurant, overnight accommodation was provided at Jesolo beach, one of the most popular and lively seaside destinations in Venice.

The second day included a tour of all of Venice’s most impressive attractions, including the Rialto Bridge and the iconic St. Mark’s Square, as well as an exciting canal tour aboard a private boat. The Nice UK group then enjoyed a tour of the Squero San Trovaso, where the famous Venetian gondolas are designed, built and repaired. The Squero San Trovaso is the most famous “squero” of Venice; founded in the early 1600s, it is one of the few workshops still active.

The visit was a great opportunity for the Nice UK staff and their customers to spend time together building an understanding of the Nice Group and what this very special brand has to offer.
